This fall has been particularly busy, both professionally and personally. Keeping my blog updated has unfortunately been put on the back burner. So if you’ve come looking to see what I’ve been up to, I apologize! Now that the busy season is starting to quiet down I am hoping to get the blog up and running again. If you are on Facebook, you may want to check here for some images of my most recent work. Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

I’m very excited to have been published for a second time in Romantic Homes magazine, along with writer and stylist Charlotte Safavi.
I am really excited to have been published in the spring issue of Romantic Living Magazine. It was a pleasure working with writer and stylist Charlotte Safavi, Sherry Moeller of Moki Media, homeowner and interior decorator Elizabeth Gibney, and my good friend and fellow photographer Fredde Lieberman.
One of the things I love about being a photographer is that the work can be so diverse. One day I may be photographing a family, another day I may shooting a wedding, and another day it may be interiors for an architect’s portfolio. In this case, the architect happens to be my big brother. Over the next few days I’ll be featuring his work, starting with this grand home he designed in a DC suburb. If you are interested in learning more about Bertin, his website is http://radiferadesign.com/.
This past fall my friend Dave of Blue Ridge Music Together asked me to sit in on a class and take some photos for their website. This is a great music class, you should check them out. http://blueridgemusictogether.com/
Wow, I never thought that I would actually start blogging. Well, I guess I was wrong and here I am. After many years of perusing hundreds of photographers’ blogs and plenty of non-photography blogs, I finally have my very own space to show my work and the things that interest me. Let me start off by saying that I am by no means a deep and profound writer. I truly write what’s in my head and that’s why I love making pictures. They can speak for me.
As for other blogs, I’ve looked at horrible ones, with awful writing (which won’t be me), and I’ve read amazing blogs, with phenomenal writing (which also won’t be me). This will really be a place for me to gather all the things I find cool about photography, websites that I find interesting, work photos, family photos and life in general. So please, if you can bear to see the world through my eyes, join me, make comments, let me know what you think. I would love it.
With all that being said, I thought I would start my first post with a recent shoot I did with fellow photographer Ben Hernandez for the SPCA of Sissy Spacek. She’s an absolutely amazing person and we were able to capture some great moments of her.
