We had so much fun planning and both of us knew that selecting the right photographer to capture our moment was just as important as our wedding venue and well….maybe our honeymoon destination! We did a lot of research, spent many hours reviewing potential photographers work on their websites and then a good friend referred us to Robert Radifera. The moment we read about Robert and saw his work I made the call. We clicked right away and within a few weeks he was in our living room sharing his amazing photographs with us and listening to our “story”. We are a blended family and including our children in our ceremony was so important to us – not just because they stood by our side as we exchanged our vows – but because we wanted them included every step of the way and we wanted lots of photographs to share with them after the big day was over. Robert promised to do that and he didn’t let us down. On our wedding day, despite the torrential down pour, he listened, he cared, he kept us calm, he made suggestions and he “rolled with it”. People who see our wedding photos always comment on the tender moments that come through in every shot. Robert was exactly what we wanted in a photographer. My husband and I met with him several months before our wedding and decided not to look any further. He was professional, yet easy going, and seemed to really listen to how we envisioned the day. On our wedding day, he was patient, energetic and genuinely seemed happy to be a part of the celebration. At one point, he was laying in the middle of a busy street to get the perfect shot! He worked very hard from start to finish and it really showed in our photos. When I look at my wedding photos, I instantly smile. Robert’s personality is absolutely terrific. He was laid back and funny and so concerned with capturing everything we wanted, which he did perfectly. The day was seemless with Robert and his assistant. We didn’t even know they were there, but every family photo op, every important moment they would appear out of nowhere and capture the perfect shot. Our proof book came in a very timely fashion with awesome quality and all of our pictures on a convenient disk. I highly recommend using Robert and think he’s simply a phenomenal photographer! First of all, our wedding photographs surpassed my wildest expectations. I want to frame several and hang them in our home and I don’t know how I’m going to narrow it down! Ours was my second marriage and my husband’s first. It took me 17 years to find him, and our family, friends and children were so excited for us. Robert’s photos really captured the love and specialness that I felt on the day of the wedding. It’s as though the photos are a chance to relive the day (not just the beauty of the photos but the story his pictures tell and the expressions he was able to capture).For something as special as a wedding, I’m so glad we chose Robert because of his extensive expertise and experience. Robert thought of several things that never would have crossed my mind. For example, I really wanted to have a receiving line but we were having an outdoor ceremony. Thankfully, Robert pointed out the importance of getting the timing right in order to capture the best outdoor light………and the lighting in the photos is amazing thanks to him. Another example is that I didn’t want to spend too much time on formal photos because I wanted to mingle with guests. But now I’m so glad that we have the formals of my husband and I, our blended family, our two families, etc. I was so impressed with how many beautiful group shots Robert was able to take in such a short period of time. It’s got to be so hard to take shots in which everyone is positioned correctly and looks good but they’re all amazing! And Robert orchestrated this process with such grace, composure and professionalism that even several of my guests commented on how impressed they were with him. Robert made it fun, we loved working with him prior to the wedding and we particularly enjoyed watching a true artist in motion.As a bride, he REALLY put me at ease. I tend to be slightly camera shy but he made me and my bridal party feel so comfortable. He’s got fantastic interpersonal skills and can read people really well. There are three things that were important to us when looking for a wedding photographer–quality, cost, and personality. On quality, there was no question–Robert is a real talent, and his pictures speak for themselves! He has a truly creative eye. His pricing was better than other wedding photographers, and we loved the variety of packages he offered. What really sets Robert apart from other photographers is his ebullient personality. He immediately made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, brought out our personalities, and was engaging and lively. His energy behind the lens is reflected in his photos, and the result was a really fun session and fantastic pictures full of life and color.
