Last spring I had the pleasure to collaborate with writer/stylist Charlotte Safavi for an interior shoot featuring the incredible work of designer, Erika Bonnell. Some of these images have been featured on social media, but several weeks ago the project was also published in DC Modern Luxury magazine! Check out this spectacular Reston, VA space. Let’s face it. We are a little spoiled in Virginia. This has been a long winter with not much snow. My kids have complained. My wife has complained. Why does she bother buying snow gear if it isn’t going to snow? And then it snowed. And snowed. And snowed. The kids were out of school for a week. We hibernated, played games, watched movies, shoveled snow. But now that we have had our “snow” everyone is ready to be done with winter. This article I photographed for national magazine, Flea Market Gardens, along with writer/stylist Charlotte Safavi, has apparently come out just in time to remind us that warm weather is right around the corner.
Can you tell this series covers family portrait season? I’m so fortunate to photograph all of these beautiful families! Some of these children I’ve know since they were infants and it is really an honor to watch them grow. Enjoy this post…lots of really cute kids! Also featured in this post are a few sneak peeks of a senior session, an editorial shoot I did for Jefferson Vineyards and also a very special courthouse wedding between some of my favorite people.
