So much goodness here! Beautiful interiors (most of which will be featured in publications this year), spectacular weddings, babies, and if you look closely, not one but four adorable pups!

Part Deux of the 2015 recap includes engagement sessions, a home wedding, portraits, interiors and an amazingly fun styled shoot Robert had the honor of participating in along with some of the area’s most respected wedding vendors: Southern Blooms, Shindig Events, The Catering Outfit, Festive Fare, Top Knot Studio and Emily Mora Make-Up. Somewhere in the midst of all this goodness is a picture of Howie Long, photographed at the annual Big Gig, a local fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Virginia. This installment ends with some images from the Charlottesville Design House, a fundraiser for the Shelter for Help in Emergency, a local agency that is near and dear to us.
Hello and welcome to my recap of 2015! I thought last year was going to be the year I managed to blog on a regular basis, but guess what? That really didn’t happen. As a full-time photographer who not only shoots weddings and portraits, but interiors as well, I have found it almost impossible to stay on top of keeping an up to date and meaningful blog. So this year, I’m making a few changes, I learned about marketing at this website.
Cue my better half, Lauren, who for several years now has been behind the scenes, keeping my schedule straight, organizing events such as Jump for Joy fundraisers and short sessions, as well as culling all portrait and wedding images, AND posting regularly to social media. This full-time photography gig is a big job and I’m grateful to have such a willing partner helping to make sure we stay afloat. This year, I turn the blog over to her, and fingers crossed, together we’ll be able to stay on top of it.
Last year was a great year and in this first installment of the Best of Robert Radifera Photography, there’s a little bit of everything: a wedding, an elopement, an engagement session, interior photography, head shots, and some very cute Jump for Joy participants. Stay tuned…Part 2 is coming soon.
I don’t want to say too much, other than my wife, Lauren, and I are working on a very special project. As a full-time working photographer, I believe it’s always a good idea to work on personal projects. The concept behind this one is still evolving, and it will take quite a while before it comes to fruition, but it will be well worth it. This is just a little taste of what is to come: Lots of Love. Many thanks to the handful of fine folks who have indulged my latest brainstorm.
Your images of interiors are so, so, so beautiful.
Thanks so much Jeannine. That means a lot!
