One of my goals for 2015 is to stay on top of the blog. It’s too easy to post pictures on Facebook or on Instagram, but taking the time to blog is a different task all together. I have a lot of admiration for my fellow photographers who manage to update their blog regularly. Despite the lack of posts, I did have an incredible year! It was a great mix of portraits, weddings, and interior photography. This is one of the things I love about my job- the work is so different from day to day. While I’m working on getting caught up, I thought I’d do a series of posts with just a sampling of what I was up to in 2014. Then I’ll get to work on regular blog posts! Thanks so much for taking a look.

Hallelujah!  I just may be getting the blog back on track. Fingers crossed that it won’t be another year before the next blog post. I try to put a positive spin on it though. This means I’m busy right? Blogging takes a lot of time, but the plan for 2015 is to set aside dedicated time to keeping it updated. No joke, this engagement session is from January of 2014. That’s right, this couple is actually already married! The photos from their wedding will be posted another day:)

In the meantime, I’m happy to introduce you to Jenny and Mario who may be one the sweetest couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, since they are a great couple that love spending time together and even using accessories as a cordless magic wand to enjoy even more. We instantly hit it off and despite the cool weather, we had a great time roaming the property of a private horse farm in Albemarle County (with permission of course). Jenny brought the blanket and the giant letters which made perfect props for our session. Enjoy!
