Despite the rain, Laura and Lenny’s wedding was a spectacular event. Sure, the rain was not part of the plan, but nothing was going to get in the way of the joy of this day. Laura glowed and Lenny beamed. I love that their children and other family members were such an integral part of the ceremony, with Laura’s young son walking her down the aisle and her daughter and step-daughter starring as her bridesmaids. Very, very sweet. Enjoy this sneak peek!

This past year I had the pleasure to second shoot on a few occasions with my good friend and Art of Photography partner, Jen Fariello. Thought I’d share some of my favorites.

How did I miss posting this? Here is a little peek from Sharifa and Eric’s beautiful October wedding. Sharifa has been both of my daughters’ preschool teacher for many years and my family thinks the world of her. It was an honor and privilege to document this very happy occasion.

I’m so glad I was able to be a part of Christine and Chuck’s Christmas Eve wedding. It was an intimate ceremony in an amazingly quaint church set in the Virginia countryside. Best wishes for a great 2012 Christine and Chuck!

What I loved about this wedding was its simplicity. It was all about family and an intimate ceremony. There were not tons of details to be photographed…just people and the emotions of the evening. Paige and Bill were a lot of fun and it was truly an honor to be able to photograph their wedding. Other than the photos of the couple, I have to say my favorite photos are of the wedding crasher, a squirrel who helped himself to a cracker off the table.
