More of this wedding to come, likely with lots of commentary from my wife and partner, Lauren. The bride is the daughter of one of her closest childhood friends and I was really honored when I was asked to photograph this special day. A few more sneak peeks have been posted over on my Instagram feed, but for now I thought I’d share this image, a favorite of ours. On IG, Lauren,  wrote: “Kristina was a very laid back bride. “Very chill” was how the venue coordinator described her. All afternoon this room was full of people coming and going, getting ready, or just stopping in to say hello. But as soon as she was ready to get dressed everyone cleared out and gave Kristina and her mom time alone. I love this image Robert captured, mainly because I know how the room just buzzed with activity all day. Then suddenly it was quiet, but still full of love and emotion.”

This past April I had the pleasure to photograph ten families on a Sunday at the incredible Waterperry Farm in Free Union, VA. The threat of rain loomed over us for days beforehand, but at the last minute the rain stopped and we decided to go ahead, rain boots and all. It started off a little gray and wet (thank goodness for families who are able to roll with it), but as the day continued, I could not have asked for better weather and light. Many of these families are repeat clients and it is great to see familiar faces and to see the kids who have grown since our last photo shoot. I also met some new families and hope to see them again! Crosby and Rush are getting ready to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. I had the honor of documenting their big day last year which took place at Crosby’s family home in Bacova, Va. It was a spectacular day! Not only did I have the distinct honor to photograph Crosby’s wedding, I got to come back a few months later and photograph her sister’s wedding as well! That one will be posted soon. Both sisters were beautiful brides and it was really great fun getting to know their family so well. Happy Anniversary Crosby and Rush!Robert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera Photography

On a gorgeous April afternoon, I had the honor to document the elopement of this sweet couple. Claire Goodman, of Sacred Ground Ceremonies performed the ceremony under a shady tree at the Boars Head Inn. After the ceremony we headed over to Albemarle CiderWorks, where the apple trees were perfectly in bloom. The bridal bouquet, by Tourterelle Floral, was simple and beautiful…just like this ceremony. Wishing them the best of everything in life and marriage!Robert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera PhotographyRobert Radifera Photography
