Despite the rain, Laura and Lenny’s wedding was a spectacular event. Sure, the rain was not part of the plan, but nothing was going to get in the way of the joy of this day. Laura glowed and Lenny beamed. I love that their children and other family members were such an integral part of the ceremony, with Laura’s young son walking her down the aisle and her daughter and step-daughter starring as her bridesmaids. Very, very sweet. Enjoy this sneak peek!
This has been a great week and I’ve really enjoyed working with all the amazingly talented folks who are involved with the DC Design House. It’s been especially exciting this week to see my images of the transformed house in all sorts of media outlets from the Washingtonian, to DC design blogs to the Huffington Post! If you are in the DC area and have any interest at all in interior design you should go! This benefits the National Children’s Medical Center, how can you say no to that?
I recently took some head shots for Nadia Subaran, co-founder and co-owner of Aidan Design. Nadia will be transforming the kitchen of the DC Design House which opens on April 14th. This is a great fundraiser for the Children’s National Medical Center: http://www.dcdesignhouse.com/
I just wrote the check for the final donation to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in honor of Ryleigh Katstra and her amazing volunteer work for this great organization. Thanks to the support of many local families and their super jumpers, the Jump for Joy event on February 4th raised $468 for the food bank!
