Last spring I had the pleasure to collaborate with writer/stylist Charlotte Safavi for an interior shoot featuring the incredible work of designer, Erika Bonnell. Some of these images have been featured on social media, but several weeks ago the project was also published in DC Modern Luxury magazine! Check out this spectacular Reston, VA space. To say I was excited when Holly and Chris asked me to photograph their wedding would be an understatement. I’ve known one of Holly’s sisters for several years, initially through our work together for the Charlottesville Design House, and then as a family photographer for her growing family. I jumped at the opportunity to document Holly’s wedding day! To bond with wedding clients is one thing, but to bond with their families is an added bonus. Both Chris and Holly’s families were incredibly gracious and made me feel like an honorary family member. Not only was everyone so kind, but they were fun and crafty too. Many of the details from Chris and Holly’s wedding were DIY which made the day all the more special.
As their first anniversary is fast approaching, I just wanted to say thank you so much for allowing me to document this incredible day. I wish you both all the best!

Jenny and Mario’s winter engagement session has been featured on Charlottesville Wedding Blog today! You can also see more of Jenny and Mario in one of my previous blog posts. 
This was my first wedding of 2014 and it was an amazing one! Taylor and Whit, along with their friends and families, are just really classy people. By that I mean that they exude warmth, hospitality, good taste, and they know how to have a great time! One of my favorite moments of the night was when Whit picked up his guitar and played for Taylor during the reception! That is definitely not something you see at every wedding. These two are just beautiful people, inside and out and there was no doubt that their guests were thrilled to help celebrate their big day.
